What a week of fight action it's been & with so many talking points on the board we're doing a Hooligan Report edition of the podcast for Episode #081 of Paddy Holohan's No Shame. During the show we discuss Team Ireland's journey at he IMMAF European Open, Bellator London, UFC Greenville & of course the stand out moment of the weekend, Artem Lobov's inspiring unanimous decision win over Paulie Malignaggi at BKFC 6 in Tampa, Florida.
Fresh off the plane & straight from Dublin airport to the studio, Paddy returns from Italy, Having spent the last week at the IMMAF European Open as part of Andy Ryan's Team Ireland coaching staff. He discusses a week of mixed emotions for the Irish who had the largest team at the tournament & speaks of the invaluable experience the fighters will gain from competing on an International level.

Paddy was on driving duty for the week & discusses his experiences driving on the 'WRONG' side of the road. Anyone who's ever had a car rental experience outside of Ireland & the UK will know that virtually everyone else drives on the other side of the road & its absolutely terrifying.
It was perhaps fitting that the European Open took place near Rome, home to the Colosseum, which Paddy visited with his team on Saturday. He talks about the history of the Gladiators & how padding records existed as early as 70 AD.
Not even an abysmal performance from the tour guide could dampen spirits as Team Ireland were blown away by the iconic landmark, however it's quite possible that Paddy was blown away by the heat. It was a poetic surrounding for the fighters who could almost grasp a sense of all that had gone before them.
Perhaps the biggest shock on this weeks episode is the revelation that Paddy went an entire week in Italy without a cup a tea. However upon his return to Ireland on Monday evening, the self proclaimed King of Tea refuelled on three cup's of Gold blend at the time of recording.
Paddy touches of the performances of James Gallagher & Aaron Chalmers at Bellator London, as well as referencing Molly McCann's gritty decision win at UFC Greenville. The big story from the weekend however was Artem Lobov's incredible win over Paulie Malignaggi in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
Paddy breaks down the BKFC 6 main event & speaks of how impressed he was by Artem's graciousness in victory towards a man who behaved disgracefully in the build up to the fight. Holohan talks of his disgust at Paulie's post match comments but gives the former WBA Welterweight Champ credit for showing up & making a few quid.

We haven't talked conspiracy theories in a while, so we're making amends for that this week by discussing the real possibility that Aliens exist & are here among us. We reference the recent Joe Rogan Experience Podcast with Bob Lazar who was the subject of Jeremy Corbell's 2018 documentary, 'Bob Lazar: Area 51 and Flying Saucers' which details his experiences working on reverse engineering extraterrestrial technology at a site called S-4 near the Area 51.
The discussion quickly leads us onto the subjects of false flags, JFK & data mining. Come for the fights, stay for the conspiracy theories as they say.
